first visit incident : staff included a $4 condiment fee in the bill when i did not even eat the condiment, when i clarified with her that i did not eat the condiment , she said she charged me $4 because i took a few alcohol wipes (the ones they usually give for free), then i asked if the $4 can be removed if i return them the wipes and she said ok, after that she voided the bill and issued me with a new one (without the $4 charged) and i thought that was the end of it, the next day hdl called me saying that the bill was not voided at all by that staff, ridiculous. in the end, i managed to get a refund via bank transfer.
incident 2 : the dishes we ordered were served to the table opposite us , when we told the staff about it , she said she will get a new one but we had to wait for 30-45 minutes before it came. the pork jowl we ordered was pink even after cooking and the staff said it’s normal however after visiting hdl so many times in my life at so many different outlets this is the first time i’ve seen the pork jowl this colour after cooking .
i only came to this outlet because of the freebies they offered , but now after 2 horrible experiences , i wouldn’t even come back to this outlet even if the whole dining experience is free.

And the ladies who served us today, Xiaofeng and Jingwen, are very friendly, attentive and great🥰🥰

I went there 18 Feb 2024. 刘小风 splashed boiling soup on our feet. She noticed but didn't say sorry.
Second, order was lagging. 刘小风 was so reluctant to help us and looked + sounded annoyed. She was rough with the ipad and was like "can't you see? there's a service delay!" though we alr clicked.
When cleaning plates, she rushed though place was quite empty. She splashed water on our necks and shoulders but was still so annoyed when we told her. She said sorry in an unsincere manner and continued splashing water on us.
Hai Di Lao, there is more than 4 bad reviews of 刘小风. Your reputation is going down because of her.

Served by friendly Ms 帮红, she’s very cheerful and even served us speciality drinks.?
Overall very enjoyable dining experience, 10/10 will be back again for more hotpot dinner
Food wise, it is as other outlet so nothing much to compare. But it is still one of the better outlets as it wasnt too crowded and service was fine too.
